Morse Manufacturing Celebrates Leadership and Innovation at the MACNY Annual Celebration

This year’s MACNY Annual Celebration was a powerful reminder of the strength, innovation, and leadership that continue to shape manufacturing across Central New York. For the Morse Manufacturing team, the evening was especially meaningful.

We are proud to share that our president, Nate Andrews, was inducted into the MACNY Manufacturers Wall of Fame—an honor that recognizes individuals who have made lasting contributions to the manufacturing industry and their communities.

A Well-Deserved Recognition

Nate’s induction reflects not only his leadership at Morse Manufacturing, but also his broader impact on the industry. Through a commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and strong partnerships, Nate has helped position Morse as a trusted global leader in drum handling solutions.

More importantly, his leadership reflects a deep dedication to people—employees, customers, and the manufacturing community as a whole. This recognition is a testament to years of hard work, forward-thinking vision, and a passion for advancing manufacturing in meaningful ways.

A Deeper Meaning Behind the Honor

In his remarks, Nate reflected on how his perspective on this recognition has evolved over time. While he once viewed it through the lens of accomplishment, he now sees it as something far greater—a responsibility. He spoke to the idea of stewardship, emphasizing that businesses like Morse Manufacturing are not owned in the traditional sense, but rather cared for and carried forward for future generations. He also underscored the role of curiosity in sustaining a company’s relevance, noting that long-term success comes not from having all the answers, but from continually seeking better ones. Most importantly, Nate shared his belief that leadership is rooted in service—supporting employees, strengthening communities, and contributing to something larger than oneself.

Celebrating Innovation and Service

The evening also highlighted the incredible achievements of others within the MACNY community:

  • Antoinett Dufort was recognized as Innovator of the Year, celebrating her contributions to advancing new ideas and driving progress within the industry.
  • Randy Wolken was honored for an impressive 25 years of service to MACNY, acknowledging his leadership and long-standing commitment to supporting manufacturers across the region.

Each of these recognitions reflects the collaborative spirit and shared drive that continue to move manufacturing forward.

A Strong Manufacturing Community

Events like the MACNY Annual Celebration serve as an important opportunity to recognize the people behind the progress—those who lead, innovate, and dedicate their careers to strengthening our industry.

Morse Manufacturing is proud to be part of this network and to celebrate alongside so many peers, partners, and leaders who are shaping the future of manufacturing.

Looking Ahead

As we reflect on the evening, we are inspired by the momentum within our industry and the individuals pushing it forward. Congratulations again to Nate, Antoinett, and Randy on their well-earned recognitions.

We look forward to continuing the work of advancing manufacturing—together.
